Right Honourable Udeze who was during a two-day retreat organized for the members of the 8th Assembly, themed “The Legislature and State Development” added that the retreat provided a platform for introspection and strategic planning aimed at aligning the legislature with the developmental goals of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration.
Emphasizing on the title “Principles for effective legislation and Collaborative Governance” One of the resource persons and Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Osita Chidoka, said that effective legislation serves as a pillar of justice-measured, principles and blind to personal bias or social status, and called on the lawmakers to weigh the needs of the people with impartiality and integrity.
