The President General, Nawfia Community in Njikoka Local Government Area, Chief Daniel Okoye has urged Anambra State Government to reconstruct Ezu Nawfia Bridge that collapsed fifteen years ago making it difficult for them to access their farm lands and neighbouring communities.
Speaking to the ABS, Chief Okoye who lamented that the incident has turned many farmers in the community into beggars revealed that some residents had relocated to other communities due to the inconvenience and associated risk of walking through the collapsed bridge to their farms.
The Nawfia President General urged Governor Chukwuma Soludo to reconstruct the bridge to enable them bounce back to farming and access their neighbouring communities.
