Nnobi PG Okpala Debunks Allegation Of Illicit Drug Influence, Insists Statement Figurative

The President General of Nnobi Welfare Organization in Idemili South Local Government Area, Barrister Dominic-Savio Okpala, has called on the Anambra State Government to wield the big stick against enemies of peace and progress in the community in order to stop Nnobi from sliding into anarchy.

Correspondent, Joseph Egbeocha reports that Barrister Okpala made the call while reacting to a news report in which he said that two individuals in the community, Chief Daniel Ajaghaku; Palace Secretary, and Mr Emeka Okwelume; Chairman of Awuda quarters mischievously and vainly tried to misinterpret his “innocent expression used figuratively” to describe his ordeals in detention, stressing that he has never been involved in taking illicit drugs in his entire life.

When contacted, one of the accused and Palace Secretary, Chief Ajaghaku, called on the President General to embrace dialogue in resolving issues in the community, emphasizing the need for participatory governance for the good of members of the community.
