Three Years In Office: Soludo Inaugurates New General Hospital Okpoko, Others

In a significant boost to healthcare delivery in Anambra State, Governor Chukwuma Soludo, accompanied by Minister of Health, Professor Ali Pate, has commissioned the newly constructed General Hospital in Okpoko in Ogbaru Local Government Area, as part of activities to mark his administration’s three years in office.

The new General Hospital has modern medical equipment, expanded facilities and improved patient care services as well as equipped to provide a range of services, including emergency care, maternal and child health services, and general outpatient services.

 

Governor Soludo, who restates his administration’s commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure throughout the state, said the project commissioning is a way of opening doors to better health, improved wellness and a brighter future for the people.

The Minister of Health, Professor Pate, who applauded what he described as an overwhelming transformation in Okpoko, said he had witnessed the area’s slum condition and commended Governor Soludo for his visionary leadership style.

Other projects inaugurated at the event include the desilting of drainage channels and clearing of Sakamori canal, solar powered streetlights, water project and fifteen kilometres road project.
