Soludo Warns Hotel Owners Against Delaying Implementation Of Provisions Of Anambra State Homeland Security Law 2025

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has warned owners of hotels in the state against delaying the implementation of the provisions of Anambra State Homeland Security Law 2025 in their different establishments.

 

Governor Soludo, represented by his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, gave the warning at the Government House Awka during a one-day interactive summit with all hotel owners and owners of other hospitality outfits in the state, where he warned them of the consequences of not implementing the law, adding that the meeting was to properly sensitize them on the provisions of the new law.

Earlier, the Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment and Tourism, Comrade Don Onyenji, explained that the event was organized jointly by his ministry, Anambra State Internal Revenue Service, Ministry of Homeland Affairs and the State Security Network to help each player under the law and guarantee lasting security for Ndi Anambra.

Responding, the State Chairman of the Hotel Association of Nigeria, Chief Ifeanyi Nwokoye, represented by his Vice, Mr Taiwo Ogunshola, assured that members of the association are ready to work with the government to curb the menace of insecurity in the state, and asked the state government to address the issue of multiple taxation.
