Queen Anigbogu reports that the beneficiaries received the scholarship at the maiden edition of the annual Ideoko Memorial Scholarship programme.
The gesture with the slogan: “Everyone deserves a good education” was in honour of the former Vice President , Dr Ekwueme.
One of his sons, Architect Ken Ekwueme told the gathering that education was very important to their late father because he was able to achieve all that he achieved through education.
