Amidst controversies surrounding his health condition, Pope Francis has asked Catholics to pray for him; as he continues to receive treatment in hospital for double pneumonia.
In his message released yesterday, Sunday, the pontiff, who was unable to deliver the traditional Angelus prayer in person for the second Sunday running, thanked the doctors and health workers at the hospital, as well as well-wishers who sent in messages, saying that of the many messages of affection he has received in recent days, he’s particularly struck by the letters and drawings from children.
