In his remark during cultural carnival by organized by the Corps members undergoing orientation programme at the Nnamdi Azikiwe NYSC Orientation Camp Umuawulu/Mbaukwu, Governor Soludo, represented by the state Commissioner for Culture Tourism and Entertainment, Comrade Don Onyenji, said Anambra remain the destination for hospitality, tourism and culture, calling for their explorations.
Earlier in her address, the Anambra State Cordinator of the NYSC, Mrs Blessing Iruma, said embracing one another’s culture help to foster mutual respect and unity, in line with NYSC programme of building bridges across ethnic, religious and cultural lines, thereby creating a more harmonious and progressive Nigeria.
The Traditional ruler of Umuawulu, Igwe Dr Joel Egwuonwu, Anambra State Commissioner for Youth, Mr Patrick Agha-Mba, represented by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Dr Martin Agbili, Managing Director of the ABS, Mr Christopher Molokwu, among others attended the event.
