Residents received free medical checks and medicines at the community centre where medical doctors and other health professionals offered them healthcare services.

The sponsor of the medical outreach, Mr. Nwabueze Oli, a UK based Realtor, said the outreach was to ensure that his people especially the poor and less-privileged ones are healthy and gain easy access to quality medical care at affordable rate, as his way of giving back to the society.
One of the medical team leaders, Dr Ken Okeke encouraged residents to comply with recommendations given to them by the doctors at the outreach to stay healthy and asked those who are forty years and above to engage in regular medical checkups.
