Eze Chukwuemeka Eri of Enugwu Aguleri, Anambra East Council Area has restated the call for the release of the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Maazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Eze Eri who was speaking at the 2025 celebration of World Eri Festival, also asked Ndi Anambra to vote wisely in this Saturday’s gubernatorial election in the state while keeping in mind that the Soludo administration has brought good governance to the doorstep of every citizen.
Eze Eri also known as “Aka Ji Ovo Igbo Nine” while performing kolanut rituals, prayed against the intimidation and marginalization of Ndi Igbo in different parts of the country.
The Chairman, Eze Eri Cabinet Institution, Idu Eri Kingdom, Chief Ugezu Jideofor, a nollywood actor, explained the significance of the celebration, emphasizing that Eze Eri bears the responsibility of uniting Ndigbo and that his prayers are important to the progress of the Igbo nation.
