Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has presented a budget of seven hundred and fifty billion naira for the 2025 fiscal year to the state House of Assembly for consideration and approval.
Six hundred and eleven point seven billion naira, representing eighty-two percent of the budget is for capital expenditure and one hundred and thirty-eight point six billion naira representing eighteen percent of the budget is for recurrent expenditure while the figure represents about thirty percent increase in the 2024 budget which was five hundred and twenty-three billion naira.
