Mohammed al-Bashir has been officially appointed caretaker prime minister of the transitional Syrian government until March first, 2025.
Earlier, toppled President Bashar al-Assad’s Prime Minister, al-Jalali, agreed to hand power to the opposition-led Salvation Government, headed by al-Bashir.
