Gender-based Violence: Anambra Women Affairs Commissioner Obinabo Flags – off Commemoration Of 16-day Activism

The Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Anambra State, Mrs. Ify Obinabo has flagged off the commemoration of the 16-day activism against gender-based violence in Awka.

The event, which is currently ongoing in Awka, is with support with the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption, RoLAC, Programme.

This year’s event themed “Unite to End Gender-Based Violence in Anambra State” is a statewide agenda targeted at addressing GBV, positioning it as a leader in advancing gender equity and human rights in Nigeria.
