The training which took place at Nnokwa Civic Center, Idemili South Council Area was sponsored by the Member Representing Idemili North and South federal Constituency, Honorable Uchenna Okonkwo.
The training which attracted over fifty men and women from the council area was aimed at training the participants on how to convert human and animal waste and other refuse into Bio gas for cooking and powering generating sets and to produce liquid organic fertilizer for farming.
A resource person from the Ministry, Mr Chris Kalu, exposed the participants on the importance of the training, saying that when waste is transformed into Bio Gas, the environment will be clean and will also bring development to the country.
