Declaring the competition open, the Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Somtochukwu Udeze said the competition is an important platform to engage the youths who are the future leaders and empower them with the knowledge and understanding of legislative processes and democratic values.
The Speaker who was represented by the Chairman, House Committee on Education, Mr. Anayo Okpalaeke maintained that all round quality education is paramount in the Governor Chukwuma Soludo administration, stating that in order to ensure no child is left out, he introduced free education in all public schools in the state and recruited quality teachers to ensure quality teaching in schools in the state.
