LG Election: ANSIEC Commences Distribution Of Non-sensitive Materials

The Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission, ANSIEC, has commenced the distribution of non-sensitive materials to all the twenty-one Local Government Areas ahead of the local government election on the twenty-eight September 2024.

Briefing journalists on the development at the office of the commission in Awka, the Chairman of the Commission, Magistrate Genevieve Osakwe said that the commission is currently evacuating non-sensitive materials from their headquarters to the various local government areas headed by the Electoral Officers.

She disclosed that the election will hold in all the polling units across the State in a peaceful atmosphere.
