Ebonyi State Community and Social Development Agency, has visited its
Anambra state counterpart, , to seek collaboration and consolidate
on the gains achieved, with the major aim of improving the life of the
poor and community infrastructure.
Correspondent Kenechukwu Chukwudi who was at the meeting reports that the Community and Social Development Agency, is a World Bank assisted
project aimed at alleviating the plight of the down trodden while
brining about community development.
Speaking during the meeting, the traditional ruler of Nteje and Board
Chairman Anambra State Community and Social Development Agency, Igwe
Roland Odegbo, noted that the meeting was a way of sharing knowledge
between the two agencies and improve on ways to achieve better
results.
The General Manager, Anambra state Community and Social Development
Agency, Mr. Chudi Mojekwu and Chairman, Ebonyi state CSDA, Mr. Peter
Onyakachi noted that the ideas and experience shared in the course
of the visit will go a long way to ensure that the agency perform
optimally and pointed out that level of supervision should be
maintained in the implementation of projects and thanked the World Bank for its intervention.
Making their views known during the meeting, a Board member of Ebonyi
state CSDA, Mr. Sam Igwe, the General Manager Ebonyi state CSDA, Dr.
Peter Obasi and the Permanent Secretary Ebonyi state Ministry of Human
Capital Development and Management, Mr. Enyiyia Okoegwu explained that the
visit is part of CSDA engagements, a way of ensuring sure that best
practices are maintained and new ideas initiated .
