A community leader in Awka, Chief Obi-Ochije Muodilim has called for concerted efforts towards making Awka a livable, green and prosperous Capital city.
Speaking on ABS Radio programme Eko Awka, Chief Ochije Muodilim who is a member of the prestigious Ozo Awka Society, maintained that the ongoing efforts by Governor Chukwuma Soludo towards transforming Awka the Capita of Anambra State should be encouraged by both indigenes and non-indigenes of Awka, saying that Governor Soludo has proved beyond reasonable doubt that he is committed to developing Awka and commended the Governor for the ongoing construction of New Government House and Lodge, Awka fun city, opening up internal roads in the city among others.
Another Guest on the programme who is the Supervisory Councilor for Environment in Awka South Local Government Area, Honorable Chukwudi Ndife who is an indigene of Awka while commending Governor Soludo for his wind of transformation in different parts of Anambra State called on the people to always obey environmental laws which is aimed at ensuring clean and healthy environment across Anambra State.
