Members of the committee include the Governor or his representative, Commissioner for Homeland Affairs, Special Adviser on Security, representative of the Nigeria Police Force, DSS and NSCDC.
Others are Chairman, House of Assembly Committee on Security, Chairman, State Council of Traditional Rulers, Chairmen of the twenty-one local government areas of the state, and Counsel from the Ministry of Justice.
Performing the inauguration ceremony at the Governor’s Lodge Amawbia, Governor Soludo emphasized the urgent need for innovative solutions to address the challenges posed by crime and social unrest, noting that the committee will serve as a vital platform for collaboration between government agencies and the community to create a safer environment for all citizens of Anambra.
