Held at Umudala Village Hall, Nnaka, the summit emphasized the vital role mothers play in shaping the moral, emotional, and intellectual development of teenagers while highlighting the contributions of government, community, and self-discovery in raising well-rounded individuals.
Speaking at the event, Anambra State Commissioner for Youth Empowerment, Mr. Patrick Aghamba, stressed that strong moral foundations begin at home; encouraging mothers to model ethical behavior, instill discipline, and nurture empathy in their children to create a morally upright society.
Earlier in his address, the Convener of the Summit, Chief Emeka Uganeme, acknowledged the critical roles of government and community as extensions of the home, expressing his commitment to tackling issues such as moral decadence, abuse, poor personal hygiene, and declining interest in education among the youths.
