AWKACCIMA Holds 2024 End- of-Year Get-together in Awka

In fulfilment of the saying that all work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy, associates, friends and families of members of Awka Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, AWKACCIMA, joined the association in an evening of merriment, networking and camaraderie at its 2024 End- of-Year Get-together in Awka.

The event featured reading of NACCIMA Code of Ethics, presentation of new directors, inauguration of committees, live music performance by VinKelly, refreshments among other attractions.

The Chief Host and President of AWKACCIMA, Engineer Chudy Egemba in his opening remarks, explained that the event afforded the members opportunity to wind down, appreciate God, take care of themselves and network to share experiences in learning the current trends in businesses.

While affirming that Chamber of Commerce is very important to the economy, the Anambra Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment and Tourism, Comrade Don Onyenji who is also a top member of the Chamber of Commerce, described Chamber of Commerce as an umbrella of business people and investors where business opportunities are brought in the open for interested individuals and groups to access.
