Late Mrs Mary Okafor Laid To Rest At Okpuno Awka-South Council Area

The remains of Mrs. Mary Okafor, who died at the age of eighty-six have been laid to rest at Okpuno in Awka-South local government area.

The burial Mass at her husband’s compound was officiated by the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Paulinus Ezeokafor whose homily focused on the need to live a Godly life, as the race for heaven is on individual basis.

The son, Chief Obi-Okafor said that their mother was a strict disciplinarian, a devoted Christian while one of her daughters, Mrs. Anthonia Nwafor emphasized that the deceased was a great woman.

Reverend Father Emmanuel Obimma, who came to condole with the family, noted that death is an inevitable end for all mortals.
