The project, executed by the NGO, SEM Fund with technical and financial backing of ECREEE through the ECOWAS Special Intervention Fund, ESIF, is set to revolutionise farming practices across ten communities, including Bandafassi, Damboucoye, Andiel, Ibel, and others.
These solar installations will enable farmers to irrigate their crops more effectively and sustainably, enhancing productivity while building resilience against the challenges posed by climate change.
In alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, the initiative empowers rural communities with clean energy solutions, creating a brighter and more secure future for local farmers.
