Anambra state government has ordered the immediate relocation of the tricycle park near the Onitsha High School, Egerton Road, Onitsha.
Governor Soludo gave the order through the Commissioner for Education, Professor. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh after receiving a report on the nuisance constituted to academic activities by the tricycle operators around the school.
Professor Chuma-Udeh emphasized that the tricycle operators must relocate immediately as they are blocking the gate of Onitsha High School, thereby impeding academic activities in the school which according to her is unacceptable to the State Government.
She warned that she will visit the school unannounced, adding that any Keke operator seen in front or around the school gate and environs would be impounded.
